Over the years, I never had the opportunity or desire to pursue, what I consider a pure artistic pursuit, like creating music or works of literature.   Luckily, I was introduced to carving stone.  The artistic aspect of carving does not come naturally to me, but the logic of shaping the stone does.   If you do not know the symbol on the flag, you are not a fan of The Simpsons.  "Homer the Great" is the twelfth episode of The Simpsons' sixth season.  Homer joins a secret club and gets kicked out until they discover his birthmark matches the symbol of the Stonecutters.  Homer is the Chosen One and new leader of the Stonecutters.  Until they dissolve the club and recreate it as the “No Homers Club” for more info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homer_the_Great
